Help me by donating!
In 2010, I was Passionately Pink for the Cure®. My inspiration was my sister, Kris, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. I road my motorcycle from Atlanta, GA to the Arctic Circle to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. This was in honor of my sister, Kris, and all of our sisters, mothers, daughters, aunts, nieces, and friends battling breast cancer.
Now we are in 2011, and I was asked by my good motorcycle friends to get things started again. We are once again Pink for the Cure and ready to make the long ride to the Arctic. We are looking for more riders and, with that, more support for other cancer patients and survivors by raising funds and awareness for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
If you'd like to contribute online, please use the link below to donate directly to the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure®. Your donation is 100% tax deductible and you will instantly receive an emailed receipt.
Thanks in advance for your generosity and partnership, and for being inspired to save a life by going Passionately Pink for the Cure®. If you see me on the road, give me a honk to help inspire me for the miles ahead.

ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this
Well I have 5 weeks till I leave... We have raised almost $4000 and Im not even on the road. That is great. I hope to reach my goal before I leave and maybe pass it by the time I arrive back in Atlanta. Having been on my Motorbike for 13,000 miles by that time.
ReplyDeleteHey Daniel - thought you'd get a kick out of my Facebook update: won't you help my friend Daniel go Passionately Pink for the Cure? - Pretty Please?!! He's $1000 from his goal of $5000 for Susan G Komen and he's riding his bike from Atlanta to the Arctic Circle of honor of his big sister, my high school friend Kris - who is fighting Breast Cancer at 42. He's eye candy too ... so go take a look (scroll down on the link and his close up is on the bottom right of the page) ... and donate to a fantastic cause ~ thanks!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously - humor helps, right? I can't believe what a handsome young man you've grown into - because I still think of you around age 4! When will you depart on the 23rd? If it's in the am, I may be able to make it with my kids. Cheers to you!
